Ray, when someone asks you if you're a god, you say yes!

Ghostbusters (1984)
In honor of the late Harold Ramis.

No color commentary here. Just good, old-fashioned 80s fun. Don't cross the streams!!! Unless you're desperate to slay the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. Then it's okay to cross the streams.

Cocktail #1: Between the Sheets
More like above the covers... Four feet above the covers! Courtesy of Speakeasy Cocktails.
  • 3/4 oz cognac
  • 3/4 oz aged rum
  • 3/4 oz Cointreau
  • 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
Combine all of the ingredients in a cocktail shaker, fill with ice, and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass and serve.

Cocktail #2: Ectoplasmic Residue
Also known as a Midori Splice, from My Best Cocktails. "Somebody blows their nose and you want to keep it?"
  • 1 oz coconut rum
  • 1 oz Midori
  • 3 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz cream
Pour the Midori, rum, and pineapple juice into a goblet glass half filled with ice cubes. Stir gently and top with cream.

What a lovely green color! Much tastier than it looks (and sounds). I poured the cream over the back of a bar spoon, but the Midori was so viscous it probably would've stayed up on its own.
